Position Overview

Full time, commissioned position M-F 8:30 – 5:00
Benefits would be available – Health Insurance and 401K
An insurance account manager, at the Tucker Agency, acts as a customer service representative for the agency. Prioritizing the customer service side of the insurance sales cycle, a client manager nurtures new and existing customer relationships. Their responsibilities include responding to customer inquiries, explaining coverage and premiums, informing clients on any policy or billing changes, and facilitating the claims process between clients and the adjuster. Account managers work closely with the rest of the team to enable ongoing and future sales or renewals.

Responsibilities

You will be partnered with 1 – 2 producers and will be expected to work together to write new business and most importantly maintain and service current clientele. More specifically, the following tasks will be asked of you on a daily basis:

• Customer Service for current clientele. Same day responsiveness is expected.
• Maintaining the current book of business and making sure that all accounts are renewed in a timely manner
• Making policy changes as requested
• Maintaining our agency management system
• Work with and develop an excellent relationship with your client manager – the two of you will be a team
• Continue to grow as an insurance professional expanding your knowledge and experience
• Simply put…your role is to provide excellent customer service and to help your producers to write more business.

Qualifications

• Must have a good attitude and a team mentality
• Must have excellent organizational skills
• Must take direction well
• High school diploma or equivalent
• 3 months of customer service experience preferred
• Experience with Employee Navigator is preferred
• Active Insurance license is preferred but certainly not required
• Must have strong written and verbal communication skills
• Must have basic computer skills and be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
